Sky Diving Grandma

This was shot in 1991 when my mom and dad came out to watch me make some skydives. anyways, one of the club members overheard my then 67 year old mom say, ” Heck that looks easy any body could do it” So he decided to take her up and see if she meant it. when I told her she was going to make a jump. She said “Well, I had better go potty First.” The reason why I jumped by myself. Was, I had just received my A license and I didn’t feel comfortable about being around a tandem and a camera man. (Its also the reason, why I had the goofy student helmet and funky jump suit on) I haven’t jumped since having a family ( 13 years ) but I did get my D license and have over 1100 jumps from all over the USA. about 15 base jumps.Gazillion “CREW Jumps”. hot air balloon jumps. 4 from a helicopter. one while sitting on a wing of a bi-plane. another one from a jet @ Quincy. also about 100 from Mike Mullins King Air. (one of them was at 30,000′) Mom is now 84 and lives in a assisted living complex. (because of having early stages of Alzheimer’s)
