I am a twelve year old girl. I get acne mostly on my forehead (mainly between my eyebrows), near my nose and on my chin. My nose is really oily too, i dont know why! I have used nutregena oil-free acne wash, nutregena rapid clear, and clearasil daily face wash, but all of them either did nothing, or made my acne worse, or dried out my skin! Right now all i am doing is washing my face with plain soap daily. It helps somewhat. My mom wotn let me use any zit cream or anything, only face washes, because she says the other stuff will dry out my skin. What is some things i can do to get rid of my oily skin and acne without drying out my skin?. Nothign too expensive, i cant afford proactive or any of that stuff. preferably natural.

Applying lavander essential oil works wonders. I didn't really believe it until someone reccomded I try it instead of the standard on the shelf stuff.

Besides that, I have found the following things matter and tend to effect acne.
1) Eating sugar (and artifical ones). If you eat no sugar your predispotion to acne drops a lot. Mine completely vanished when I did.
2) Eating greasy fried food (aka fast food). I noticed I was able to feel outbreaks coming on as I ate the stuff. I think sugar matters more though.
3) Getting rid of hair covering the face (so beards, sideburns, or long curly hair that gets to your cheaks). I don't know why this one matters but it does.
4) Washing the face with water from a shower. The more you wash it the better it gets. However, chlorine which is in all tap water irritates it as well, so if you get the chance to get a chlorine shower filter that goes a long way to fixing your skin (and hair).

There are some other anecdotal things I am not sure of in anyway about acne, but I'd leave it as; if you are generally healthy then you will not get acne, so most of the time its best to just think of acne as an indictator for your body. Then again its a pretty awful one to deal with, and I went through a lot of grief before I figured out what I just told you.

I've been working out consistently for about a year, but my weight loss has been really slow. I've only lost about 15-18lbs. I've also changed my diet and started eating a lot healthier. I haven't been intaking much protein and I believe that is a reason why my weight loss has been slow. How much protein should I take to speed up my weight loss? Are there any recipes, shakes or vitamins I should be taking?
I workout at least 3-4x a week. On average I'm at the gym for 1hr. – 1.5hrs. I've been attending the RPM & Body Pump classes at least 2x a week. On the other days I'm doing cardio and weightlifting. I also do resistence training.

Protein: Beans, lean meats such as boneless skinless chicken and fish, peanut butter (about 1 tablespoon for a serving), etc…

Lean Protein should make up about 40% of your daily nutritional intake per day. 30% is for whole grains. 20% is for fruits & vegetables. 10% is for fat.

What is good weight loss plan for a pescetarian?

I am a pescetarian, meaning that i am a "vegitarian" who eats fish. I am looking for a weight loss plan that will help me lose some weight while still not eating any meat other than fish. If anyone has any yummy healthy low-carb recepies that would be great too!

Great.i was a pescetarian myself some years ago..take steamed fish with oatmeal for dinner(you may season it with pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil, and do add eggplants and carrots by the side)…do stick to your regular dose of veggies n fruit…do keep a limit on soy products because too much soy raises estrogen in your blood and that will be enough to limit your body from burning excess fat..if you are a woman trying to get pregnant or simply a person who appreciates high metabolism, please take my advice seriously. Progesterone is a female hormone that exists in men too, but the testicles can convert it to testosterone.High testosterone/Progesterone levels improve metabolism and also improve the alertness of the brain..estrogen isnt like that..it is dangerous if it is in high density in your blood..and the bad news is that the strength of estrogen raises when there is too much sugar in the blood OR TOO MUCH FAT IN THE BODY. Estrogen dominance is the root of all weight loss problems…there are no foods on earth to induce progesterone, so the only way to cut down estrogen in the blood is via regular exercise. Even 20 minutes , 3 times a week of cardio workout will work wonders. If you hate sweat, then try something more internal like yoga and pilates.Sweat is external excretion. Yoga/Pilates helps the body excrete from within,so you dont sweat much, but it works!try to take home made replacements like fresh fruit juice mixed with non-fat yoghurt or muesli occasionally so you still get a good balance of amino acids.Trust me friend- There is no short cut to a better and healthier body, but hard work will pay off!

I was looking into Online college class for Natural Health. I am just seeing if this school is good or NOT! I did check witht he BBB and they did have one complaint that was fixed .

Yep, I'm currently enrolled. I'm a passive person and my instructors/staff are not pushing the "fire" and motivating me. So you have to be a self-starter and do what you have to do to finish if you choose this school.

If I was to do it over I would do like you're doing asking around. I would also check out Trinity, saw the ad in a magazine but don't know the full details. found it here's trinity:

I'm looking for health, natural health or women's health. Men's health is OK too as long as it doesn't have "erection or make it longer" ads or stories and doesn't have " pick up any women in 10 minutes" ads or stories
